The elders say every forest needs a keeper — small enough to slip between the roots, patient enough to remember a hundred winters. I was born in the hollow of the oldest oak, already knowing which acorns to save, and which to plant.

I don't just gather nuts for myself. I gather what the forest forgets — a seed here, a memory there — and keep it safe in my cheeks until the day it's needed again.

RULE I

Stash it, don't chase it

Every acorn goes in the cheek pouch, not the panic-trade folder. Slow and stashed beats fast and sold.

RULE II

Winter always ends

Every bear market is just a long winter with bad weather. The squirrels who kept their stash are the ones who make it to spring.

RULE III

No utility, and that's fine

Stashy doesn't do anything. She doesn't have to. Sometimes a good stash is its own reward.

RULE IV

Plant more than you take

A stash that only grows for one squirrel isn't a stash — it's a hiding spot. Bring a friend, plant an acorn, let the tree get bigger.
